51st Bayou Classic 2024
The 51st Annual Bayou Classic returned to New Orleans over Thanksgiving weekend as one of the nation’s premier HBCU traditions, celebrating the storied rivalry between Southern University and Grambling State University at the Caesars Superdome. The weekend featured the iconic Thanksgiving Day Parade, the electrifying Battle of the Bands and Greek Show, and the Business at Bayou Classic Expo. Fan Fest at Champions Square energized the crowd with live performances headlined by Rick Ross, while the halftime show featured Lil Boosie alongside the legendary Human Jukebox and World Famed Tiger Marching Band. Blending football, music, culture, and community, the 51st Bayou Classic once again showcased the pride, legacy, and excellence of HBCU heritage.
