
NMA Region V @ 52nd Bayou Classic 2025
NMA Region V played a dynamic role in the 52nd Bayou Classic weekend, advancing health equity through culture and community engagement. On Friday, Region V participated in the Bayou Classic Parade alongside Biogen, and hosted a Lupus Awareness Brunch that centered education, advocacy, and dialogue. They also presented two impactful health panels during Business at Bayou, addressing critical issues affecting underserved communities. On Saturday, NMA Region V partnered with LCMC Health as a lead sponsor of the Wellness Yard at Fan Fest—bringing healthcare providers directly to the community for screenings, resources, and engagement. Through celebration and service, NMA Region V seamlessly blended health, culture, and purpose during Bayou Classic weekend.
